Bella Sonen

Bella is the writer and director of Leaving Paradise and hails from Charlottesville, VA. Her love for horses stems from her childhood adventures on a ranch in Montana and then later with the Farmington Foxhunt Club in Virginia. Her favorite credits include her role as associate producer on Stoned Immaculate and her role as director and editor of For Sure, She is the founder of the independent production company Dawn Makers Films, which produces and distributes short films and music videos. The production company Youtube channel has amassed a total of over 325,000 views on their various cinematic works.

WRITER AND DIRECTOR

Addie Tweet & Harrison Oswald

Addie and Harrison are co-producers of Leaving Paradise. Addie hails from San Diego, California and Harrison from Asheville, NC with both being recent graduates of the University of California, Berkerley. They have both written, produced, and directed a range of short films and are the co-founders of Powerline Pictures. Harrison has written and directed over 15 short films, including his short The Receipt  which was selected as Programmer’s Pick at the National Film Festival for Talented Youth (NFFTY). Addie has written and directed several short films, including her recent release Clowns at a Wedding, which she and Harrison co-wrote and directed. She also produced and co-wrote the film Tyrannosaur.

Maxwell Ingels

Maxwell Ingles is a Berkeley-based cinematographer who has shot countless commercials, short films, and music videos. He has collaborated with Addie, Harrison, and Bella on several occasions. His favorite projects include Tyrannosaur and Stoned Immaculate. He grew up around horses and is a self described “horse girl”.

    Eve is from Charlottesville, VA and a recent graduate of the University of Delware. She works in geology research and is currently based in Newark, Delware.

  • Kai Estrella Kowal

    Kai is a current student at the University of California, Berkeley. He has directed films such as “Bonzo’s Lil Big Show!” and “Murt, the Musical Maneater”, but works primarily as a sound technician and composer, most recently on “Tooth Jerry” and “Hi Mom, It’s Agnes”.
